My name is Anna Verghese and I graduated in Winter 2023 from UCLA with a degree in Economics and a minor in Neuroscience. My interdisciplinary education inspired my work as a SLAGC Scholar, Fed Challenge presenter, Honors Fellow, and USIE course, "Mindhunter: Profiling and Serial Killers." An ambitious student, I was a lab technician in the Sharpe Lab studying neural pathways and behavior in rodent models, where I completed my capstone. I plan to start my PhD at Oxford in the Department of Experimental Psychology in the fall of 2023.
